Friday Night
Lorenz-Kronberg Band (dk/lv – Blues Rock)
Preforming songs, from their latest albums, as a duo, these 2 great players will entertain you for as long as you wish. The band is specially put together for the Fontaine Festival so come and watch these 2 rock ‘n’ rollers stripping it down to the core of the music.
Lorenz (also known as Louie Fontaine), has many records behind him and toured the world. Kronbergs has played in many of the great Latvian bands including Skyforger, Ilgi & The Hobos. Lorenz Kronberg is opening the music feast this year at 19:00 in The Acropolis!

Rock Jam with Jam Master Ainars Virga (lv) (All welcome – Rock)
On Friday night, join legendary rocker Ainars Virga in The Acropolis for a full on rock jam with Ainars leading his band of special guests. Expect covers and some of his original material seen in a new light.
It’s sure to be hard and heavy. Be there!

Saturday Night
The Classical Hang Over Band (lv – Classical Concert)
To provide a little culture to your festival experience, Oleksijs Demčenko brings you a classical trio featuring Fligelhorn, Guitar and Contrabass. They will be playing the music of Bach, Faure, Satie and other tunes from barock to modern times.
This will be an early afternoon concert in The Acropolis to bring out the quietness from your rock’n’roll dream. Cleanse your mind, set your spirit free and ready yourself for the madness to come!

On Saturday afternoon in The Acropolis, we’re very happy to announce a full 2 hour Steel Drum clinic with master technician Gregory Boyd.

Jazz Jam With Jam Master Demchenko (Ua) (All welcome – Jazz, Blues & Funk)
At this years festival, we’ll be featuring a special Jam Session run by our good friend Oleksiy Demchenko. The band will be playing well known pieces as well as free-style, making the Jam Session open to all types of musicians with varied tastes ready to jam and improvise with the core band. So grab your instrument and join them!
Jam Master Senor Demchenko Core Band:
The core band will have a traditional setting of a Jazz combo including Trumpet (Vocal), Piano, Contrabass and Drums. They will be exploring music in styles from mainstream Jazz ballads and Blues to Funky dancing tunes.

Groove your way into the night with funkmeister John DC Washington & his crew of low-rider hipsters. Guests are welcome and you have the chance to join the band and get on down to your hearts desire.
